“Towards the full realization of the sexual rights of young persons with intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions through Supported Decision Making (SDM)”
Friday, 23 June 2023, 9 am – 11am, Brussels.

EASPD cordially invites you to participate in our event on the full realization of sexual rights of young persons with intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions through supported decision making.
Sexuality is a basic human need, but persons with disabilities still do not have full and equal access to sexual and reproductive health services and rights.
Under EU co-funded projects called SMARTS ("Supports Me About my Sexual Rights"), guidance has been developed on how to better support persons with intellectual disabilities and young persons with mental health conditions to make their own decisions about their sexuality, using the Supported Decision Making (SDM) approach.
The aim of this event is to use the intellectual results produced in the framework of this project and to advance the discussion by involving various stakeholders as well as politicians.

The event will take place at Mundo-j, Rue de l'Industrie 10, 1000 Brussels on Friday 23 June from 9am to 11am.
Please, confirm your attendance by registering HERE.
Please also inform us on any accessibility requirements and food allergies or dietary preferences you may have.
